Hosting and logs

The website is hosted by Strato. Server log data such as IP address, request time, requested file, referrer, browser information and status codes may be processed to provide and secure the website. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Contact

If you contact us by email or through a form embedded on individual pages, we process the submitted information to handle your request and possible follow-up questions.

Products

RollBerry, MapBerry, QuestBerry and BardBerry store campaigns, libraries, notes, audio files, maps and imported assets locally on your device. RollBerry Studios does not operate a cloud sync or user account system for normal app usage on this website.

Cookies, local storage, and analytics

Technically necessary local storage may be used to remember settings such as language, favorites, tool state, or your privacy choice on your device. This storage is required for selected website functions or for remembering the choice you made. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and, where storage on the device is necessary, § 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG.

Google Analytics 4 is loaded on rollberry.de only if you actively choose “Allow analytics” in the privacy notice. Without this consent, the Google Analytics script is not loaded. Google Consent Mode v2 is configured with default “denied”; advertising storage, ad personalization and Google Signals remain disabled. If you consent, page views, usage events, technical browser and device information, approximate location information and shortened IP addresses may be processed. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google may transfer data to affiliated companies, including Google LLC in the United States, relying on mechanisms such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.

After your consent, Google Analytics may set cookies such as _ga and _ga_*. These cookies help recognize a browser for reach measurement and may be stored for up to 2 years depending on Google configuration. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG. You can change your choice at any time using the button below; if you reject or reset analytics, we try to delete Google Analytics cookies for this domain. Data already transmitted to Google is not deleted retroactively by this.

Contact form and external resources

The contact form is processed through Formspree. If you submit the form, the information you enter, technical metadata and the time of the request are transferred to Formspree so the message can be delivered and spam can be reduced. The provider is Formspree, Inc., USA. If you do not want data to be transferred to Formspree, you can contact us directly by email.

Fonts and the remaining website scripts are served locally from rollberry.de. External services are opened only when you actively use them or consent to them, for example Google Analytics after consent, Formspree when submitting the contact form, or links to GitHub, BuyMeACoffee, Creative Commons, or project repositories. External sites are governed by their own privacy policies.

Sources and attributions

Some content on the RollBerry website and in the browser tools is based on the SRD 5.2.1 under CC BY 4.0. Third-party fonts, images and other resources are listed on the Attributions page.

Buy Me a Coffee and Spreadshop

Buy Me a Coffee: Links to buymeacoffee.com are external offers. If you make a voluntary payment, Buy Me a Coffee processes the transaction. The provider is Buy Me a Coffee Inc., USA. Personal data such as name and payment information is processed by Buy Me a Coffee. For details see the Buy Me a Coffee privacy policy.

Spreadshop (Merch): The RollBerry merch shop is operated by Spreadshop (sprd.net AG, Gießestraße 27, 04229 Leipzig). When you visit the shop or place an order, Spreadshop processes your personal data (name, address, payment data). For details see the Spreadshop privacy policy. Contractual partner for merch orders is the sprd.net AG.

Your rights

Subject to the legal requirements, you have rights to access, rectification, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You may also lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority.

Retention period

Server log files are automatically deleted after 14 days. Contact form submissions are stored for as long as necessary to process the request and then deleted. Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months. Local data in the desktop apps remains on your device until you delete it.
